What it does

Sattari Scaler is a MIDI effect that turns single notes into in-key chords. Play one note and get the correct diatonic triad or seventh for the key; out-of-scale notes are snapped in so you can't play a wrong one. Turn on Follow Song Key and it harmonises to whatever key Sattari Key detected on the master, so a whole session stays musically locked together.

How it works

Every incoming note is snapped to the chosen scale, then chords are built by stacking scale degrees — a third is two scale steps up, a fifth four, a seventh six — so the chord is always diatonic to the key rather than a fixed shape. It shares the suite's scale tables with Auto Pitch and Harmony, and reads root and scale from the cross-plugin session bus when Follow is on. Note-offs release exactly the chord that was sent. Uses the shared KeyButton control.
